• Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) with a dominant slightly purplish Red hue, a medium-light/light tone & moderately strong saturation. This is an open-tone sapphire, it will glow and sparkle in any light. It is a nice bright pink in all lighting, there is one small spec inclusion but otherwise, this sapphire is crystal clear!
Photos and videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun near the horizon, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

• Microscopy Report:
This gem has one tiny spec. This spec might be a carbon inclusion but after further examination under a brighter light, it is semi-translucent so it could just be a trapped fluid inclusion. The orientation of the facets reflects this one inclusion several times, this is an optical illusion, there is only one. I also spotted one individual elongated micro rutile needle at one end that can be seen under very high magnification and a few very small sparse needles sprinkled throughout. The rutile needle's crisp appearance indicates that this sapphire has not undergone heat treatment to enhance its color or clarity.
